1900-1956, which is defined as the “beginning stage” of Yantai Moon Foundry Co., Ltd., marking by “Yantai Iron-foundry Plant” subject to public-private partnership approved by Yantai Bureau of Local Industry in July 1956. This period is also the “courtship stage” of Yantai Moon Foundry Co., Ltd.

It is a period subject to private system with material scarcity and low level of mechanization, and the casting technology is stagnant under the influence of social culture at the time, however, rich historical wealth was accumulated for the development of Yantai Moon Foundry Co., Ltd.

In 1900, Fang RusenfromGuanbeituan Village, Jiaohe County, Hebei Province came to Yantai and established Yixingheng Ironworks.

In 1931, Yantai Zhenxinglong Ironworks — branchof Dalian Zhenxinglong Ironworks was established.

In 1934, Yixingheng Ironworks was renamed as Yisheng Ironworks.

In 1955, Yisheng Ironworks and Zhenxinglong Ironworks were merged into Yantai Huafeng Sand-casting Skillet Plant.

In February 1956, merged into Yantai Huafeng Agricultural Tools Factory.

In July 1956, separated from Yantai Huafeng Agricultural Tools Factory, and YantaiIron-foundry Plant was established by means of merging of Wenqi Ironworks and Fusheng Copper Shop, with 76 employees, an annual output of 573 tons of iron castings and fixed assets of 9,090 yuan.

1956-1990, it is defined as the “initial phase of business” of Yantai Moon Foundry Co., Ltd., marking by merging into Yantai Refrigerating Machine General Factory and this period is the beginning stage of the company.

The company was in the stage of rapid growth and expansion after continuous expansion and merging.

In 1957, 15100m2 land of TongshenStreet was taken over to establish1029m2 plant through government grants of 94,000 yuan.

In 1959, pipe casting workshop and steelmaking workshop were established, with 503 employees and plant area of 3726m2.

In 1962, it was renamed as “Yantai Casting Factory of Public-private Partnership”.

In 1968, the steelmaking workshop was separated from the Casting Factory.

In 1978, the casting department of Yantai Tractor Parts Factory was incorporated.

In 1980, the steel-casting foundry was incorporated.

In 1981, the casting department of Power Machinery Factory was incorporated.

In 1986, it was identified as one of the 26 professional castingfactories of in China by the National Ministry of Machinery Industry.

On November 6, 1990, it was incorporated into Yantai Refrigerating machine Machinery General Factory.

In 1990, which is defined as the “development period”, and this period is also the “mature stage” of the culture of Yantai Huafeng Agricultural Tools Factory.

In 1990, started to export the casting products.

In 1992, “Vermicular graphite cast iron steel ball grinding disc”, “vermicular graphite cast iron glass bottle mold”, etc. were awarded the Science and Technology Progress Award of Shandong Province.

In 1993, the “Cold Riser Neck Technology” studied and applied received the Invention Award from TIPS China Division of the United Nations

In 1996, established cooperation with Mitsubishi Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

In 1997, established cooperation with Makino Milling Machine Co., Ltd.

In 1997, it was renamed as Yantai Moon Foundry Co., Ltd.

In 1997, the first technical transformation was made, with production capacity reaching 10,000 tons / year.

In 2000, the second technical transformation was made, with production capacity reaching 15,000 tons / year.

In 2001, three sets of flexible machining lines were introduced from Makino Milling Machine Co., Ltd., and the machining center was established.

In 2002, passed the DNV organization ISO9001 quality system certification.

In 2004, Yantai Moon Heavy Casting & Machinery Co., Ltd. was invested and established, and total production capacity of the two companies reached 35,000 tons / year.

In 2006, passed the three-level safety standardization audit.

In 2009, it was listed as one of the “Top 50 Enterprises with Comprehensive Strength in the Foundry Industry of Shandong Province”.

In 2013, the old casting factory was closed under the strategy of “Retreating from the City and Entering into Garden”, and the entire production and operation area was transferred to No. 50, Shanghai Street, Economic & Technological Development Zone.

In 2018, 3D printing factory was constructed.

In 2019, listed as one of the “Two Fusion Demonstration Enterprises in Chinese Foundry Industry”.

In 2015, installation and putting into production of multi- -variety and small-batch resin sand molding line.

In 2018, 3D intelligent printing factory was constructed.

In 2019, listed as one of the Two Fusion Demonstration Enterprises in Chinese Foundry Industry.

The main products include machine tool castings, compressor castings, power generation castings, combustion engine castings,pump and valve castings,mining machinery castings.
